Our local community is very friendly and visitors to our island are always welcome (and in fact encouraged) to attend any of the events and functions. Kauai has a very active gay and lesbian community, and there are scheduled family events almost every day of the week. Since Lambda Aloha is an all volunteer organization, this site is setup using a fairly simple web development tool. This is so that ANYONE who is computer literate could step in to replace the existing Web Developer at any time if needed. We are limited in what we do here, so to save time and heaps of work, we have elected to omit the formal Hawaiian Diacritical Punctuation which really should be used. |
