Gay Bingo Comes to Kauai



On July 29th 2006 the first Gay BINGO night was held at the Menehune Plantation in Eleele.
WOW! Everyone won. Looks like this will be another event for our community, held on the last
Saturday of the month. The night's big winner was Hank walking away with a $50 gasoline gift
card, a $25 Gift Certificate from Nappa Auto Parts plus his cash winnings and other prizes.
Lambda Aloha would like to thank Debbi who was a gracious host and organized the event
flawlessly. Please come and join us.

GAY & Lesbian BINGO is held the last Saturday of each month at The Talk Story Bookstore,
Hanapepe, at 7pm.  A benefit for Lambda Aloha.  Bring a wrapped "White Elephant" gift if you
can.  Bingo cards are $4 for the evening.  Pupu potluck, BYOAdult beverages.  Ice, soft drinks,
plates, napkins are provided. Be sure to check the event listing page or call the hotline
(823-6248) the week prior to the event in case there are any last minute changes.

White Elephant Gifts

With every win, in addition to the regular Gay Bingo Prize, the winner(s) get to pick a
"white elephant gift", either from the pile, or "stealing" one which has been selected
by a previous winner (they get to replace their prize). We suggest brining gifts with
you that have a "Kitchen" theme. That is anything which could be found or used in
your kitchen. (Some people use some very strange items there).
