Regularly Scheduled Functions
Gay and Lesbian Bar & Karaoke Night
1st. Saturday Night of each Month. The Nawiliwili Tavern, 3488 Pnena Lp, Nawiliwili, 8 PM till whenever. This is THE bar event of the month for all of our family members on the island.
GLBT Community Bonfire
Most Friday evenings (weather permitting) at sunset. Kealia Beach, Norrth of Kapaa, exactly at the 10 mile marker (although you have to enter the parking area just north of the marker, then drive back along the beach road). BYOB and weenies to roast. This is our social event of the week (there are no gay bars on the island). So if visiting, feel free to join in. Bring a six pack,water, soda, or whatever else you wish to drink, a beach towel or blanket to sit on (or a chair), or even weenies to roast over the fire if you wish. This event sometimes get rained out in the winter months when dry wood gets hard to find. The occasional brief rain shower is usually well tolerated by the locals. Gay Tennis
Usually every Tuesday & Thursday, 5:00pm, Wailua Homesteads Park (on Kamalu Road near Opa‘eka‘a Road), Wailua Homesteads, weather permitting. Contact Doug at 652-0544 to reconfirm or for other questions or directions. You may need to leave a message. CLICK HERE for all the details.
Second Sunday Beach Potluck
Poipu Beach Park (across from Brenneck's), 2nd. Sunday of each month, 11 AM - 4PM (or later), Look for the Pride Flags, (usually visible from the road) at or near one of the 4 small pavilions. BYO Beverages and something for the potluck (tourists: even snack food goes over well). Great swimming, snorkeling, and sun. Don't forget towels, bathers, sunscreen, etc. For questions regarding this event contact Ken or Art at 332-5182. GAY & LESBIAN BINGO
Bingo is held the last Saturday of each month at The Talk Story Bookstore, Hanapepe, at 7pm. A benefit for Lambda Aloha. Bring a wrapped "White Elephant" gift if you can. Bingo cards are $4 for the evening. Pupu potluck, BYOAdult beverages. Ice, soft drinks, plates, napkins are provided. CLICK HERE for the GAY Bingo Page
Aloha Movie Insider
Most Saturday Evenings, 7:30PM, in Lihue. E komo mai. Come and experience our fun movie loving group and watch gay interest movies: new releases, classics, provocative, comedies, drama, foreign- all with gay characters or gay themes.
Some snacks, water and ice cubes provided, otherwise BYOBeverages and more snacks or food to share. Make it a dinner and a movie experience. Hang afterward and get to know our very open and freindly movie loving ohana.

LIVE & LET LIVE AA
Most every Thursday, 7:00pm, Kapaa Community Center, Kapaa. This weekly program is intended for those members of our BTLGQI community who want to stop drinking alcohol, however everyone is welcome. For more information, contact Darrel at 652-9234. CLICK HERE for the AA meeting page.

Lydgate Beach Park, 1PM to 10 PM. Booths, food, soft drinks, donation drawing, entertainment, dessert contest (bring your best). Volunteers will be needed. Contact information will be provided in April 2008.
Tourists and visitors to the island are not only welcomed but are encouraged to attend our Pride Picnic. You don't need to bring anything unless you want or have a specific need. There will be soft drinks, bottled water, and food. This is a great opportunity to meet the locals, hang out and enjoy the beach with "family". We typically have had about 200 people attend in past years.
