Lambda Aloha                           Kauai
Second  Sunday  Potluck
at Poipu Beach
Poipu Beach Park

Poipu Beach Park across from Brennecke's. Look for the Pride Flags near one of the 5 pavilions.
We usually try to get the one farthest to the RIGHT (looking at the beach) closest to the fence if we can.
This is the community social event each month.
Tourists & Visitors are encouraged to join the locals at the beach.
Hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, plates, condiments, etc. are provided. BYOB of choice, ice, beach stuff, (don't forget
sunscreen). Potluck is definently appreciated, and we understand that visitors have to be creative. But if a potluck dish is a
hassle, just bring yourself.  Your hosts are Ken & Art (and sometimes Tom), and we usually must leave by mid afternoon, but
please plan to stay and enjoy the beach with the rest of the gang who assembles.
Come join use each month for an afternoon at one of the most well known beaches on the island.
If there are no Seals on the beach, there's usually wales off shore. Bring everything for
swimming, snorkeling or just the sunscreen to lounge in the sun on one of the most wonderful
beaches anywhere in the world. If you get tired of watching the tourists, there's usually someone
playing board games after lunch. Bring along dinner for later, or plan to eat at one of the
wonderful restrants in the area.
Second Sunday of each month  -  NOON till whenever you choose to leave...
(unless the weather is really wet, which has only been once in the past 2 years)
The  June Second Sunday
Poipu Potluck will not be held.

This event takes an entire day for the host, (not to mention the cost).
In the past year, there has been such poor turnout, we've decided to
make the event dark for a few months.

We have been considering having it at different beaches, changing
hosts, etc. If anyone is interested in hosting this event, please contact us
using the link on the Tab Bar at the top of this pare if you are interested.

There is no reason why this could not be held at any of the beaches
around the island.
