| Gay Hawaii Lambda Aloha is the gateway for almost everything gay or lesbian related that is happening on the island of Kauai. Since there are frequent requests from or about other islands, we are currently developing information on all the other populated Hawaiian Islands. This is very incomplete at this point but we have some links and resources available for each. Check back from time to time here, we'll be working on this area when we can. The local gay communities are very different from island to island. Oahu (Honolulu) has the majority of the population, and thus most of the commercial businesses. But the outer islands all have their own unique communities and Lambda Aloha supports each. Kauai has the least population, and no commercial gay life, but there's still plenty of gay activities to attend each week. Regardless of which island you may be living on or visiting, the local communities are very friendly and all GLBT "family" members of the community as well as visitors are always welcome to attend local events. |

| Note on Hawaiian Diacritical Punctuation This site takes many hours each week to keep current and accurate. Since Lambda Aloha is an all volunteer organization, this site is setup using a fairly simple web development tool. This is so that ANYONE who is computer literate could step in to replace the existing Web Developer at any time if needed. We are limited in what we do here, so to save time and heaps of work, we have elected to omit the formal Hawaiian Diacritical Punctuation which really should be used. |
