Martin and Lambda Aloha maintains two completely different mailing lists. We do not share information from one list to another. Martin and Fred were two of the original founders of Lambda Aloha, but have parted from the organization in the past year or so due to Martins health concerns. They are both special men, who were responsible for keeping the GLBT community united and organized here on Kauai for well over 14 years. Weekly Updates From Lambda Aloha Beginning July 1, 2007, we will be sending out Weekly Updates. You will get an invitation to Confirm that you want this Weekly Email. If you don't click "CONFIRM" you will only get the periodic Event Notices and announcements from Lambda Aloha. Weekly Email will originate from: Weekly-Update at LambdaAloha.com Posting Events to our Schedule Lambda Aloha maintains a regular schedule of family events on our EVENTS link page (see selection near the top of most pages. We try to keep this schedule current and posted three months in advance. If you are hosting any function which is available for the community to attend, please feel free to send us a notice to post. Make sure you provide all the details others will need, and/or a contact number for those who will want more information. If you are producing a special event and require more details than we can fit on the schedule, we can create a special web page to promote your function. If you have any pictures (from past events) or other artwork you would like to include, please attach it to your email. Also please be sure to let us know if you plan to make this a regular event, so we can save the page for next time it is presented. |
Email Confusion?
| Wondering what happened to your weekly Email? With the recent changes in Martin's health, it appears that he is no longer able to continue sending out his regular Tuesdays email of gay island activities. He has been doing this for many, many years, and his efforts were appreciated by all. His last regular Tuesdays email went out on May 22, 2007. There were a few additional emails from this address since this time, but was the last date he was able to send out his regular Tuesday email. Martin actually passed away a few weeks later. We will all miss his dedication to the GLBT community not only here on Kauai, but throughout the State of Hawaii. Lambda Aloha has had a few people volunteer to take this job over, actually making this yet another function of the organization. This will likely happen near the beginning of July. If you would like to continue getting email each week, you must register on this site, and we will add your name and email address to our list. We will not be using the same mailing list that Martin maintained for so many years. CLICK HERE to register for the Lambda Aloha email list.
